Dr. Abdussalam Ali Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Bani Waleed University, Libya, and a prominent researcher in Mechatronics, Control Engineering, and Renewable Energy. He holds a PhD in Mechatronic Engineering and Renewable Energy from Okan University, Turkey (2017), and Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees from the University of Tripoli, Libya (2002). With 15+ years of experience across academia and industry, Dr. Abdussalam has authored nearly 200 scientific publications and received the 2021 IKSAD Outstanding Scientist Award for his contributions.
Currently, he serves as the President of the African Academy of Advanced Studies (AAAS) and Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Bani Walid Graduate Academy, spearheading initiatives to advance engineering education and sustainable energy research in Africa. He has chaired prestigious international forums, including the 5th International African Conference on Current Studies (Cairo, 2022), and collaborates globally on projects bridging mechatronics, control systems, and renewable energy solutions.
